Dynamics of antiproton plasma in a time-dependent harmonic trap

چکیده

An antiproton plasma confined in a quasi-1D device is described terms of self-consistent fluid formulation using variational approach. Unlike previous treatments, the use time-dependent method allows to retain thermal and Coulomb effects. A certain Ansatz proposed for number density velocity fields, which reduces problem essentially ordinary nonlinear differential equations. In adiabatic cooling, frequency trap potential slowly decreased. equation state assumed closure. The numerical simulation dynamics performed realistic parameters.
